EARLY ACCESS

Before your first ball.

Start with a practice match, check the result on your device, and keep a backup score record while you get familiar with CricketFolio.

Trouble signing in?

  1. Check that the email address is correct. Use Change email if it is not.
  2. Check your inbox and spam folder for the eight-digit code. Use the latest code.
  3. When the resend countdown finishes, choose Resend code if needed.
  4. If the page says it cannot connect, check your internet connection and try again. If it reports too many attempts, wait before retrying.

Never share your sign-in code. Go to email sign-in.

Know where your score is saved.

  • SYNCED means the app reports that your current workspace is saved online and on this device.
  • SAVED ON DEVICE means the local copy is available, but online sync may still be pending.
  • LOCAL · CHECK means you should read the recovery message before making further changes. Keep both copies when resolving a conflict.
  • NOT SAVED means you should stop and resolve the save problem before relying on the app for the next delivery.

Do not clear browser data or uninstall the app while scores are waiting to sync. Reconnect using the same account and check the exact score. Export a recovery backup before resolving conflicting changes.

Offline reopening and installed-app behaviour depend on your device and browser. Test closing, reopening and reconnecting with a practice match before using those features in a match that matters. Keep a separate score record until you have checked that recovery works on your device.

A club JSON backup includes scores and club setup. It does not include photos, logos, access invitations, praise or organiser awards.

Voice and camera are optional.

Voice scoring is in beta. Hold the microphone button, wait for “Listening”, say one cricket command, then release. Recognised scoring commands can save automatically; check the score after each command and use Undo if needed. Some commands open a details form.

Your browser supplies speech recognition. It may use an online speech service and process audio away from your device. Check your browser’s speech and privacy settings before using the microphone. Use the manual scoring buttons if speech is unavailable or unreliable.

QR scanning needs camera permission and a compatible browser. If the in-app scanner is unavailable, open the invitation link directly or paste the link or code. Stop scanning when you are finished.

Check what you share.

Your personal player card starts private. Turning on public sharing makes its player ID, name, role and profile location available to anyone with the link or QR code. Turn sharing off to make the card unavailable through that link.

Published team pages are also available to anyone with their link. Team managers choose whether to publish squad names and roles. Get the players’ permission before publishing a roster.

Keep invitation links, private chat details and backup files private. Turning sharing off cannot remove copies that other people have already saved.

Report a problem.

When signed in, open the app and choose Report a bug or Suggest an improvement beside “Help improve CricketFolio”. The feedback inbox requires sign-in.

Include the device and browser, the steps you took, what you expected and what happened. If a score is affected, include the expected and displayed score and the save-status message. Keep the report reference shown after sending.

Your feedback includes your account email and the page you reported from. App administrators can review it. Do not include sign-in codes, passwords, private messages or other people’s personal details.
